I have one spare transformer which is the same as in Kooka (ordered two by mistake :) Can I use it for Opus as well? Which voltage is recommended from secondary? Is it 6-9V? Can I just use the same trafo which Kooka uses already to avoid the second one? Should I adjust anything in PS (R6, R8)? What should be output voltage from PS? Is it exactly 5V? Should I adjust anything in PS (R6, R8)? What should be output voltage from PS? Is it exactly 5V? I would use it for OPUS yes. I would keep the two transformers separate. I would not share the kooka trafo for the OPUS. Output voltage from the PS for the OPUS should be ~5V for the digital side, and ~7V for the analog side. You could actually just do 7V for both. And no R changes should be needed.
We are planning on switching to Avel 2x15VAC (25VA) as a standard trafo for JT, Kook, Opus, TXD (in i's various interations). Not sure on the price yet, but soon.

Would a 2x15 (2x0.5A) 15VA toroid be sufficient to power the Opus?

I have one more related question. Will the Opus and Ballsie power supplies fit in a 4cm high enclosure or are the heatsinks higher than that?
