Received a new Placid HD last week and built it at the weekend. Measured the trim pots for resistance with no problem and was able to adjust them, then I applied power. All LED's lit up and no smoke (always a bonus), however I cannot seem to be able to adjust for voltage and current. I am getting 13.8v out of it but no matter how much I turn the pot I cannot raise it or lower it, same for the other one in order to adjust current. The pots seem to adjust OK before I applied power, when I was measuring resistance. Checked all my solder joints and as far as I can tell they are all OK. Any ideas??

Sounds like you either have some transposed transistors, or the current diode is reversed.

Last night I checked the board over again and found I had missed soldering one leg of R12. Do you think that could've done it? Other than that the transistors are correct as is the current diode.

That fixed it. Working wonderfully now.
