I owned two Single Placid with 15VA and 20VA 9VAC transformer, supplying around 300mA and shunt of 50-70mA, both unit hookup with DAC (one of them was Buffalo II), found the DAC lose the SPDIF locking and resume at the power I plugged in/power on other device on same power strip, and thing I can check or do to improve the situation?

What kind of digital cable do you use ? Do you have a pulse trafo near the input of the dac ?

75 ohm coaxial cable, no trafo at input.

That was what I thought too. Many have the same problems with different dacs. It is very common. Usally caused by bad shielding of the digital signal I think.

Because this behavior only happened with my DAC using Placid Single Power Supply.
