Could it be possible that the problem is in the Placid, even tho i am getting steady output voltage and steady voltage through R8, with or without load (excluding small raise of output after warming up)?
It that is the case, I got a LDCPS currently powering Arduino board. i could set it to 5.0-5.5V and try to power the AVCC module using it instead.

I tried with LCDPS too but it did not help . LCDPS was set to 5.32V. Still, no light on D1. I am running out of ideas. Edited by user Sunday, July 24, 2011 11:53:18 AM(UTC)

Sounds like you have a dead transistor (QP1 or QP2)

When i measure the transistors, the results between QP1 and QP3 should be the same and also QP2 and QP4 and if not then QP1 or QP2 is broken. Right? Easiest way would be tho, if you could send me another AVCC and i'll pay some price for it. Or i send it to you and you look at it and send it back. I mean that if i order the transistors (NPN and ...?), and the problem wasn't those and then order something else and then again some other parts and since i have to order the parts abroad the total cost for me will be quite high anyways. And i could not be sure i would break the AVCC during fiddling around with them SMDs. Also if i can get the DAC running before xmas, with the amount of free time i got from work. I know this is DIY and not a business as usual, but it would be great if you could help me on this. ~500€ worth of gear working for one week, does not sound like a good deal either, even in DIY. I am getting a bit desperate here. Edited by user Wednesday, July 27, 2011 2:07:18 AM(UTC)
