How much current does the LCDPS put out per rail? Sorry if I missed a post aboput this, I did look but did not see one.

It depends on the version. Old versions were fairly low current PSUs, but the latest iterations should go well above 500mA. I think Brian mentioned something like 800-1000mA should be doable. But a lot also depends on the cooling capacity: if the environment it sits in is quite hot, the components used will hit their maximum allowed temperature much sooner.

Also depends how much voltage you are dropping in the regulator, and the power rating of the resistor in the CLRC filter before the regulator. But 500mA sounds like a very safe number...
