Hi toast,

Yep, that's what I'm currently using, supplying 4.78V using 3 brand new C cells.

SMD is quite small for my big hands but trying my best!

Ciao!

Hi Russ,

I can't seem to pinpoint the defective components... :(

How much would a new AVCC module cost me?

Thanks

I checked everything again... The module seems to work intermittently causing false reading...

Tonight I was comparing voltages again and couldn't find the issue... Plugged it back in the BII and everything was working fine again, then an hour or so listening to music and it died again...Brick wall

I have touched up all components in case it was a cold solder but still no go... I hate to say this, but I'm giving up now...

Thanks

Pinnochio,
Why not you change the opamp and see it that help?

Sure, I'll try that later on. I have to place an order big enough at Mouser since the shipping is 20$ and the opamp is 3.50$... That becomes quite expensive for an opamp.

But it is something I'm willing to test when I have enough to order from Mouser and save the shipping charges. That would be 200$ + order. ;-)

Ciao!

This is starting to sound like a loose connection or bad solder joint. How are you mounting the AVCC module to the DAC?

Hi Russ,

I'm using the included quick connects. I have swapped the AVCC module from one BII to the other and it does the same thing. The bad one is not working on both DACs and the good one is working on both DACs.

I have retouched every single points on the AVCC module thinking it was a cold solder.

Do you want me to send it back to you?

Thanks
