Can Buffalo II be connected directly to Ventus?--I wish to use it for headphone listening only.

It could, but I think performance will be better with an I/V stage inbetween.

That's why you should consider the Legato 3.1 with buffer. I/V and poweramp for your cans, all-in-one.

Thanks for your responses----thought that might be the case. Good as it is, the combo of elements is beyond my current piggy bank level.
