If possible, could either of you send me one or more of the dead trimpots for investigation? I am assuming it's not a coincidence the have (what looks like 5) dead trimpots all around the same time with thousands working and in use. Bad batch maybe?

What was the value of the trimpots? Could it be they were the wrong value?

Brian, I think mine were all destroyed getting them off the board (damn tricky with everything else in place around them). I'll happily send what I have to you though. Brian, Do you want me to just send you the whole power supply? I won't need for a couple of weeks so you can see everything as it sits before I perform the surgery of removing the pot. Just shoot me an email if you'd like to take a look at it. Russ, Yes, I visually confirmed the value of the pot as a part of my check over of the PS when things were not working as they should. As I previously mentioned, the pot appears to be internally disconnected, it measures as an open circuit regardless of the pot position.
